President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, met with the Minister of Health, Professor Osagie Ehanire and the Director-General of the National Centre for Disease Control, Dr. Chinwe Ikwekweazu at the State House, Abuja.
Reports showed that the officials were at the State House to give the President an update on the outbreak of coronavirus disease in the country.
Photographs of the meeting uploaded online showed Buhari and other officials observing social distancing during the meeting.
Nigeria now has 81 confirmed cases with three discharged and one death.
The meeting came at a time when there were speculations that the President had been flown out of the country for coronavirus treatment after his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari tested positive for the virus.
